Adele's Photo Gallery

This is the photos page for musician Adele. For my website I have to have a gallery page with pictures and CD covers, and so I wanted to look into how other musicians display their images on their website. What I like about Adele's site is the organization of the photos, how each is the same size. She seems to either crop the picture to fit into the small square, or crops it so that just a small piece of the picture shows so that it attracts attention without giving away the entire photo. She has a lot of different images, but she doesn't take up the entire page, she still has some information on the side of her website so that the photos don't take up the whole page, leaving some more information on more pages. I might use the same organization on my page, not taking up the entire page with my photos, leaving a little room on the side for more information or for different links. Once clicked on the photo, the page changes to look as follows:

She makes the image take up the entire space that all the other images were in, while still leaving the advertisements and other information on the side of the page. The way that the photo is laid out and sized, it makes me think of an old style photograph with the cameras print out the picture automatically. I will definitely use the same kind of layout, with smaller pictures that you can choose from, and then being able to click one, and it shows the full picture in a larger size. I have a darker color scheme as well therefore I might use the block background behind my images since some of them are a little darker as well. I really like the layout of her sites and I think I'll use a similar design.
