More Clothing, But a Better Website?

Next, I'm looking at another clothing website, Deb, a popular teen clothing store. This site uses a lot of colors, without making it too over powering. Every page has that row of colored fabrics with the title of the section, and then underneath shows the different dresses that they have. They use up the background space around the website so that it doesn't look empty, and they do a really good job of using colors to draw attention to certain aspects. The logo is a solid, bright color that draws the eyes, and the bright colorful picture up to shows the section that they are currently in, and the only other really noticeable color is in the pictures with the clothes, which is something that really needs attention drawn to it. The background is classy and texture filled, which does remind me of a clothing or cloth, which is really good to bring in.

The navigation that they use on their website I think is really interesting and easy to use. They not only have the navigation bar on the left side of the website, which is almost every page they have on their site that deals with their items that they are selling. Though instead of only that one navigation section, they also have a navigation at the top of the screen, which shows the different options for juniors, plus, and clearance, ensuring that it tailors to the different things people use to search for clothes, they might want to see all the clothing options they have for their sizes, or they can use the left navigation to look for either tops, or dresses or whatever clothing they want.

All in all, I like this website because they focus on the important parts of their company and website, while still bringing color and interest to their site.
